Paul F. Nemitz is the Principal Advisor to the Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers in the European Commission. He has served 6 years as Director for Fundamental Rights and Citizen’s Rights, during which Paul was the lead Director for the Data Protection Reform in the EU, the negotiations of the EU-US Privacy Shield and the negotiations with major US Companies of the Code of Conduct against Hate Speech on the Internet.
